Question about technorati authority

    Was just wondering

    What is actually happening on technorati when your authority goes up ?

    Im aware that when it goes up - other blogs indexed by technorati links to you in some way.

    But do you get better ranks on your blogposts on technorati and eventually gets some traffic ?

    I guess it makes you blog look cooler. Bragging rights, you know? There's no harm having a higher ranking, but I don't think it directly correlates with higher traffic.

    For blogspot i don't know it.
    But for self hosted blog,it definitely got a massive link back and traffic when your rank rise at there.
