Question about tdnam

    Hello
I want to buy a domain that is listed on tdnam.
It's a fixed price of $5, when I try to buy it, I receive this message:
ERROR: You are prohibited from bidding.
I have a godaddy account, but I'm not a Domain Name Aftermarket member.
Can I buy the domain if I pay the $4.99/yr?
When I confirm that I want to buy it, I'm 100% sure I'll receive the domain?

you need to pay the $4.99 per year memebership fee so that you can bid on names.

If you head to the auctions homepage on godaddy.com you'll see the link to become a member of tdnam https://auctions.godaddy.com - big orange button in the top right.

Pretty stupid they don't link to this from the error message:mad:

Yes, you must join tdnam for $4.99 first.
Don't forget godaddy has a special deal for 1.99 domains with any non-domain purchase.
So your tdnam membership can be a non-domain purchase and you can register a .com for just $1.99 as a bonus.
