It doesn't work that way. The traffic you get from stumbleupon is kind of weird. If you run around stumbling and getting people to stumble your site you can't really track it becuase sometimes you'll get 2 visitors, sometimes 500. You can't get people to stumble your site and not see much results for weeks, then all of a sudden you'll get 2000 visitors at your site in 2 hours. However if your site has been stumbled a wack load of times in the past and it has a lot of reviews when it does get stumbled once it throws a lot more traffic than other sites would get. The only recommendation I have is not get caught up in the numbers and stats of stumbleupon. Just go ape getting people to review and stumble your site, do it whenever you can. But yet again not many people will get1000 visitors from stumbleupon everyday.
This is definitely not true. When you first get stumbled expect a lot of traffic early I had 200 hits in 10 minutes but after the initial burst I get 1 per day usually, sometimes 2. I was "found" by a very prolific member I don't know if it helps or not - I couldn't see why it would.
I didn't mean per day, that's not how stumble works. I just meant 100. To get 100 per day would need new stumbles each day.
100 per day from SU is very easy but the question is, will they interested to buy something from your site? That's the real question. I think you need specific niches to convert these visitors to buyers, different from SE traffic.
Stumbleupon traffic is trash and doesn't convert. Visitors will spent on average less than 5s on your page and won't go beyond the entry page. Not worth the trouble.
It depends if your site is good or not...if you have a sucky site and do stumble exchanges to get the visitors then yes, your bounce rate will be high. But it your website is great the bounce rate is not too bad.
