question about stumble upon

hi there

i am a little bit confused here..

i see a lot of people requesting multiple stumbles or using stumble exchanges.

What is the point of getting many many stumbles?

in other bookmark sites like digg or del u can search based on tag or keyword and see what peoples have voted or digged most or bookmarked most..

but i dont see this option on stumble upon

so why would one need multiple stumbles there?

is it like the more the stumble the more chance ur site will appear more when other ppl click the magic stumble discover button.


please enlighten me more..

only few top results appear and thats it...

I believe you need to have the stubmleupon toolbar to vote.

People here swap stumbles because as youve rightly seen , the more popular ( the more stumbles ) the more visitors you will get.

But just like all social networking sites, visitors from StumbleUpon don't click ads.

 

if you want traffic, stumbleupon brings you lots of traffic but they rarely convert to sales or ad clicks though

 

Yes that's why Stumble Upon doesn't work well for all sites. Some niches do wonder and some just plain won't do with SU.
