    hello guys,

Anyone know what is SMTP relay? I had read the explaination on the Godaddy help centre, but need more info to make it clear. I have a Godaddy account and my SMTP Relay is only 250 per day. I'm using the outlook to send and receive my email everyday, is that mean i can only send my email 250 times a day? If yes, if i'm using the web-based email that provided by Godaddy to send and receive my mail, then it will be no effect with the SMTP Relay, am i right?

    Regards,

    Richard

An SMTP relay is an external outbound email server that can bypass your ISP's email server and relay your mail directly to the recipient. You can either setup your own SMTP server (which can require a bit of knowledge) or use a managed smtp relay provider like SocketLabs Email On-Demand. http://www.socketlabs.com/od/signup
