    What is the difference between;
    www.sitename.com
    sitename.com (without www) ?
    When I try to generate my sitemap with www i get only 4 pages but without www i get 500 + pages.
    Which one I prefer to upload ? Thanks :)

    When you make your links are you putting the address in all of them or just to the file name. that could be the reason. The links that you have the address written out don't have the www in them while the other few don't.

    www.site.com and site.com are seen as 2 different domains. You should pick whichever one you prefer and stick to it.

    All incomming links should go to your prefered choice.

    You can tell Google your preferred choice within the Webmaster Consule by clicking on Preferred domain.

    Submit the sitemap that contains the most urls.

    Probably you should consider using only absolute urls.

    A very common problem. Like others have suggested, you should decide which one you want to use, and redirect all other requests to it.

    You can also read this article about common website scanning problems. However, the above is what you need to do.

    I was wondering if there's actually any benefit in having a google sitemap in addition to an ordinary html sitemap page on my websites? Does a google sitemap have advantages in terms of being PR for example?
