Hey, I'll get right to the question. I am working on my websites keywords and i was wondering what would be the best. Here is an example: Watch entourage online, Watch entourage episodes online, Stream entourage online, Stream entourage episodes online OR Watch, Stream, Entourage, Episodes, Online P.S: Please also explain the difference (if any) Thanks for the help
Hello, Investdeluxe! I believe that the search phrases that your potential visitors may enter in the search engine are better than the simple words. But it is also said on the internet that you can combine both ways: Watch entourage online, Watch entourage episodes online, Stream entourage online, Stream entourage episodes online,Watch, Stream, Entourage, Episodes, Online
It's best to target long tail keywords so use the longer ones as that is what searchers would most likely use:
Do you think that i can use both single keywords and phrases in my keywords as the above posted suggested? Here is an example: Watch entourage online, Watch entourage episodes online, Stream entourage online, Stream entourage episodes online, Download entourage, Download entourage episodes, Entourage streaming, Entourage episodes, watch, download, stream, streaming, episodes, online, entourage, full length, high quality, fast, series, megavideo, novamov, videoweed, putlocker, videobb Thanks a lot for all the help guys
you have to do some research first, you have to come up with a balance between a low competition, high demand keyword. 1 word keywords like "watch" or "stream" are extremely high competition, it would be impossible for you to rank for that kind of keywords unless you spend a fortune in advertising.
I agree with aldis. You need to do some market research and determine what are the common keywords your target markets uses and build a keyword list from there. Then move on to keyword research and check for long tail keywords that have low competition. Your keyword list should have a balance of low competition keywords as well as keywords with high buyer intention. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
I am unable to reset my keyword. Anybody can help.... Can anybody explain how the keyword helps in getting the traffic?
What do you mean you are unable to reset your keywords? Do you mean you want to change the keywords you're targeting/ranking for? You can change your keywords at any time but note that when you do, you will lost the ranks you have for your current keywords. You would also need to re-write your articles and optimize them with the new keywords. That, or you can write new articles that are optimized for the new keywords. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
Thank u Very much Sir for ur information. I understood the fact behind the keyword reset. It helped me a lot to understand the practical use of key word.Thank u very much once again. Have a good day
You're welcome! I'm glad to help. To answer your second question: Keywords help you get traffic by ranking for them in the search engine results pages. For example, if I have a website about dog training, then my keyword would be dog training, dogs and anything related to that. I need to rank for those keywords in search results pages in Google so that I can get traffic to my dog training site. If I am participating in forums or blogs, I need to use the same keyword as anchor text, not only to rank for them but for users to see that my link will take them to a dog training site or to a page related to dog training. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
Thank u very much sir. I would like to ask u if link is related to the keyword means does link depend on how u set ur keyword. If yes then how.
This is long tail keywords, which is more preferable. This is short tail keyword, which is a little bit broad. Despite of the cost of the keywords, I'd suggest you to filter only the long tail keywords that best describe your service. The short tail keywords is too broad and I don't see any relevancy to your service.
Do you mean if the links need to be related to the keywords or if you need to have the keywords in your link? What link are you referring to? Permalink? If you mean the links/URLs for your pages (example, www.domain.com/article1), then it helps your on-page SEO if you can have your keyword on there. For example, if my keyword is dog training and my article *is* about dog training, then it's best if I use the same keywords in my URL: www.domain.com/dogtraining. Having the keywords on the link of your pages help readers easily identify which page on your site they are on. If you are referring to anchor text which is a "clickable" text containing the link to a page in your site, then yes, it's best to use the keywords you want to rank for in there too. However, you need to make sure that the page you are linking to in the anchor text is relevant. For example, if my anchor text is dog training, then the link for that anchor text should bring the user to a page in my website about dog training. Hope that helps. Have a good day!
As we know that content is the king. so decide a keyword according to your theme based content and target it to fetch the lead for your business growth.
I think it all begins with good market research. You need to know the niche you are going into and from there, you can decide on what keywords to use/search for, what articles to write, etc. You cannot write informative articles to users/searchers if you do not know the niche you're in.
