Hi all, Im going to desribe this at the best of my abilties please bear with me. Ok you know the google affiliates boxes where people can put them on their site and it says something along the lines of make money by putting adsense on your site etc etc. The ones where if they sign up by clicking through your link you get a commision once they make 100 on their site. Now say I have a website and put those up on there. The websites goal is to show people how to make a certain thing on a website. Now can i tell people that they can make money by putting adsense on their newly created site by signing up for the program through the link below? Is this a violation of tos? Thanks
You are not supposed to do anything that would be consided attracting attention to those ads. Sure, you can write an article about it and have the affiliate ad on the same page but do not encourage them to click on it. This would be against TOS.
Exactly. You can teach them and tell them about adsense, but you cannot tell them or entice them to use your referral link/button.
Ok thanks. I figured that was the answer but was just making sure. Ive seen sites that violated tos. Google does a good job cracking down on people.
