Question about Signature Links

if you change your links, does it affect all the backlinks you have gotten from previous posts ?

 

Yeah, it does. Like if you change the anchor text in your sig, all posts you ever made containing your sig will change as well.

One thing to take note is that search engines may not re-visit those old pages with the old sig.. therefore, most old pages will still be indexed with the old links

Agreed with KC TAN, it is always better to buy signature links for at least 2-3 months. This will make the site decently indexed. Even if the Signature links change later, the old pages will be indexed with SE's.

 

They should visit eventually, all pages get revisited at some point or Google wouldnt know if they still even exist.
