Some of you set daily goals like achieving $1 consistently. Is this for a period of time e.g 1 week or 1 month. Sometimes I achieve $1 for a couple of days then it goes down to a few cents. I find it better to set monthly goals
setting goals is very important. Do it like me, set your monthly, 6 month goals and your long term goals. For your long term goal, stick it on the wall so you see it everyday! I stuck my long term on my wall in front of my CPU, "I will make $1000/day" Everytime I look at that, it gets me to work even harder!
I have daily goals to hit but like you it's the monthly goals that mean more. I've documented my progress so far over on Self Made Minds .
thanks ouchs How do you keep up your enthusiasm. Do you have a regular timetable setting out how many hrs you spend on particular parts of yr website. e.g 2 hrs a night for 1 week on site design, then the following week submitting to directories - what works for you.
You get inspirations from others. I spend more time creating content. As for submitting to directorys, I just pay someone to do it for me (very cheap) and get it done over with and don;t over do it. And as for link building, if you create unique content, people will write about it and link it to your site. If you have anymore more questions or just need inspiration to make money online, check out my personal blog.Ouchs.com
I have a short attention span, so I can't really set monthly goals. I basically set financial goal. First goal was $1 a day. I hit that pretty fast. Now, I'm getting close to $10 a day.
Thanks ouch & dct - your blogs look very interesting - a lot to process. The more stuff I have to do the more paralysed I get add_cents how many days do you have to achieve yr $1 goal before you consider it achieved.
