Question about server with multiple IP addresses.

Lets say you had a server with multiple ip addresses available. For instance lets say 5 unique ips. If you had 5 domain names hosted on that server, all with a seperate ip, and had a link to a site on each one. Would that count as 5 links to your site, or only 1? Thanks in advance!

It would depend whether they were in the same IP range. I am sure if they all resolve to the exact same geographic location then they will be classed as the same IP.

Its very easy to find the exact location of an IP (see my map below) so I am sure search engines will do this.
