I just sold a site on Flippa, regarding the payment do I need to do anything else when the auction ends? Is it like eBay where the winning bidder gets automatically notified and you send an invoice or something? I've contacted the seller through Flippa (I think), but it's been several days with no response. Thanks
usually they winner puts the money in escrow first. then you make the transfer of the site etc. and then you get the money from the escrow account. if you dont get response for a while you should let flippa know. because I think there is a fee for sites sold at flippa.
$19.00 listing fee $10.00 success fee Write the sell saying something like " congratulations on winning ect…" Then let them know the next steps I.E payments... and information required for transferring site They will pay you as soon as they check their email or Flippa accounts.
Thanks guys, but it's not that big of an amount that it requires escrow (under $100), and I did send a message to the winning bidder that they could use escrow if they wanted to and to let me know what they wanted to do, I also requested their namecheap username, but they haven't responded. Just thought I'd ask if I needed to do something else, ebay has an invoice that you can send to the winning bidder. Thanks
