HI one of my sites i'm trying to develop is an area that must have been done before by someone here. I am focusing on a tv show and selling memmorabilia for the show. Questions are - am i legally allowed to use cafepress or another self design site and advertise clothes with slogans on? I mean say if i were looking at muppets, could I simply offer a tee shirt or mug with erm....animal bangs? (actually not bad for top of my head haha). Just an example but you get the idea of what i'm asking. Can i put slogans related to shows over clothes and other stuff, and advertise it on my site? My second question is about advertising and marketing such a site. Ive just started doing a bit of article marketing and seems ive had a bit of traffic from that, but not on the site im talking about here. How would you go about advertising such a site? or would article marketing be a good choice? just seems more of a sales site rather than an information site, and articles seem to offer more information than direction to buy stuff (well directly anyway!) if that makes sense. Any pointers or advice would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks Alan.
