Is it possible to have an email script which uses my pop account to recieve mail from visitors to my website? If you know of such script can you point me the correct direction, thanks in advance.
All the contact form scripts you see on all the web sites send that mail to a mailbox somewhere. That is how they work. Did I understand you question correctly?
i wondering if there are scripts which would allow me to enter my isp information and recieve email from my visitors. Most scripts i have seen the visitor would have to use their outlook express email account to send an email to me when they fill out the email form on my site.
It sounds like you are using mailto (in this case mailto you). Visit my second sig link and then click on the contact link to see how a php based contact script handles that when you click on the link. As the site owner I set the mailto address behind the scences so that my email address can not be harvested by bots. The script that I am using there is a gpl product which is free to download and use. All you need is a php based server. It even has a capthca feature which I am not currently using.
