First of all I have several ways to subscribe to my feeds on the top of my home page just under a instructions for submitting to my rss feeds that total 7 sentences or so. Those sentences and the ones below them have my keywords in them. Below that is the icons to subscribe to the feeds. Below that my main content for my home page starts. I want to know if having the feed info and places to submit like myyahoo and various feed readers all made from code with my feed address in them will hurt my site with search engines with this kind of set up or is there a better way. Next on my navigational bar is my sitemap page followed by several pages that use rss feeds that were placed there by copying and pasting java script that starts like this on each of 3 pages. <script language="JavaScript1.1" src="HTTP://9930graphicdesign.news.prweb.com/js/index.php?expand=y&limit=10"></script><script language="JavaScript Or something line this. <script language="JavaScript1.1" src="HTTP://bizecomm.news.prweb.com/js/index.php?expand=y&limit=10"></script><script language="JavaScript1.1"> <!-- Will that scripted be crawled. If not will robots just ignored it and go to other pages. One last thing while I have submitted my feeds to various rss directories I was hoping having the subscription icons with the feed address in the html would give my site the benefit of having feeds available that search engines like. Am I right?
Bots do not crawl javascripts, you can take a look at how the bots view your page at: http://www.iwebtool.com/spider_view
Thans for the help but I want to know if I keep these pages script pages on my site will the bots crawl the rest of the site?
