question about right thread

    i posted wts $1 links to my directory and got a infraction because of wrong thread. in the rules it states (Freebie Offers
    Sales threads with a value of $5 (five dollars) or less). can somebody tell me why my post was in the wrong place and were should it of been listed. thanks

    i also had another question on duplicate threads. if you post in different catagories is that considered a duplicate thread?

    1. You got the infraction, because it belonged in Freebies, but that's not where you posted. I can't see where you originally posted it, but the log shows a moderator had to move it to freebies for you (not sure why you then removed the OP though) - the infraction isn't for "wrong thread," but for posting the thread in the wrong category.

    2. You may not post in separate categories for the same basic thing - same wording or not. Choose the ONE best sub-category for all threads please.
