I have noticed what appears to be a technical delay in reporting from 10:00PM to about 2:00AM on a faily consistent basis. It appears as though revenue reporting for adsense accounts may not be functioning at these times. Has anyone else noticed such a problem? And is there anything that could be done to correct it?
Reporting delays isn't really a problem. It's a privilige, like driving a car. They don't have to tell you blow-by-blow what happened. You should see other networks. Some don't report until the next day, and some has a 2-day lag!
Well it doesn't seem like reporting delays. It just seems like the system stops counting at these times (I don't get credit for them). If you know what I mean.
I sincerely doubt that. You're probably checking your stats too often and seeing things that aren't there. Google is a multi-billion dollar corporation. They're not going to try to screw publishers over with something, if true, would be so blatant. I wouldn't think too much about this. Your imagination is probably just working overtime.
Well I think you may be right about checking the stats to much. It is hard not to do this sometimes. It may be better to spend more time working on good content and such Do you know if G changes the amounts earned after two or more days?
AdSenseAdvisor clearly stated that adsense was gonna be down for Maintenance and that the clicks/earnings would function the same. Source: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=68492 (Yesterday before maintenance)
If you run Firefox, you can get an Adsense plug-in that shows your earnings at intervals of your choosing. It should save you time to keep going to their site. Just leave your Firefox running, set your plug-in to update your earnings every 30 minutes, and voila, you'll get an update every 30 minutes of how you're doing.
I must say that I am always impressed with the tools that DP members point out. This is a good tool! Thanks!
