Hello everyone! I am currently developing a product that nobody has on Clickbank and I'm looking forward to completing the project! I have a couple of questions, so bear with me here! 1) If I do reoccurring billing for my product, is there a way I can set affiliates to get a different percentage of that amount than from the initial sale? For example, say I had a product out for $59.95. Affiliates will earn 50% of that sale. When the reoccurring charge is billed for the customer every month, it will charge $24.95 and the affiliate will earn 40% from that instead of 50%. Is that possible or is everything set uniform? 2) With my plan of reoccurring billing, it is part of a subscription idea I have. However, the subscription is not for something digital, it is something that is actually an object that is sent out monthly to customers. Is it possible to have objects sent out monthly as part of my affiliate program for the reoccurring monthly plan or does it absolutely have to be a digital product for the reoccurring billing plan? 3) As part of my website that I will create for my ClickBank product, is it against the rules if I have other products for sale that are not associated with ClickBank? 4) Since I am developing a product that nobody has on ClickBank yet, does it have a small chance of being successful if it is marketed correctly? 5) Does the pricing of my product affect who I pull in as affiliates? My product doesn't need to be sky high priced... will that affect the chances of an affiliate helping to market my product? I was just thinking that because I'm thinking that affiliates are trying to seek a product that will make them more money. (Like an affiliate would rather market a product that will make them $35 rather than $15) 6) If affiliates of my product reach certain goals, it it possible to give them rewards for their performance? Thank you for helping out. Sorry I have so many questions!
1) I don't think you can, CB had some recent changes that I believe allow you to offer different commissions for different product ID's, but I don't think you can do what you want to do. There may be a way around it I haven't looked into it. 2) It must be digital 3) No it's not against the rules 4) That depends on numerous factors, the niche, the target audience, the quality of your sales letter as well as a bunch of other variables. 5) Most affiliates look for something that makes them at least $20 or more, so make sure the affiliate get's at least $20, which means if you give out 75% commission, you need to have your product priced at $29.99 6) Yes you can setup a bonus program, and send them the money via paypal or wire transfer. For example, if an affiliate makes 200 sales per month, he gets an extra $2 of each sale, so if he made 300 sales he'll get a 300 x $2 = $600 bonus.
Not against the rules, but this might turn affiliates off if they are sending you buyers, getting a small cut of the initial sale and then you send them elsewhere to buy other things..
Yeah this would be a major turn off as an affiliate. Page leaks are never good to have. Besides if you have articles or PPC that are based around one specific product and you have all leaks to other products (with no presell) you are likely to lose potential sales yourself as well.
Thanks guys. Now I'm getting a little more familiarized. What if the side products I want to promote within the website I create for my ClickBank product also has an affiliate program, but is not from ClickBank? Can that work out so my potential affiliates are not turned off?
To be perfectly honest, having any sort of side advertisements including banner ads, email forms, other products and such is automatically going to make a lot of potential affiliates turn away no matter how you try to work it out. This is simply because it doesn't make for a good sales page when you have links to anything other than the purchase form of the main product. Personally, if I see a sales page that has any leaks like these I immediately start looking for a similar product that doesn't have them. You mentioned that your product is unique, which is great, but if you truly want affiliates to want to jump on board (which you should if you really want this to be a successful product) then having a clean sales page with no leaks is essential to said success.
