question about related forums.

Guys, i wonna start building links to my site.
one of techniques i wonna use is posting on related forums.

keywords i am targetting:
"bike rentals central park"
"central park bike tours"
"bike rental NYC"
.......

i found couple forums with do_follow_links about cycling, bikes, choosing bike,

so is cycling forums or bike forums "related" to my site?
and will be these links good? cause these the only thing u can find some how related to my keywords... also there are some forums about central park and new york city, so let say i post in central park forum and linking to page on my website targeting central park bike tours - so it is brings value right?

 

Yes, that is correct. Even posting in forums which are related to automobiles will also help you. Your niche is quite bigger and you are targetting a small part of it.

So don't bother about the forums you have found and start posting in them but with quality.

and one more question let say i've got 10forums related to my topic, it is beter to choose 5 top PR forums and focus on them? or it is better to have more forums linking to you, but some will have pr4 and pr3?

 

It means you write good posts related to the thread, not spam.

 

It means that help other to solve out their queries and also not posting which is irrelevant and seems as spam to anyone.

It is better to get backlinks from as many relevant forums you can but if you are daily posting in those forums then try to alter anchor text in some of the forums.

It will help you to get ranking for different keywords and will keep you away from getting banned from SE's.

Niche related forums can help better then the non related ones.

 

yes, they would be very related. however, when building backlinks, dont just focus on forums as forum signature links have been devalued a lot over time. there are lots of other free link building methods that you can use. for better result, you should diversify your link building campaign

 

guys what R the best seo strategies for new site?
article submission, forum sig posting, social bookmarking, directories, blogs commenting(i found NO blogs with do_follow links related to bike, cycling....) what else and which of these i should focus on?

 

Finding related forums or sites are little difficult. But if u find one then it can bing u some benifits.

I would right a few articles with those keywords and submit to article directories and digg! also find free ad site and write ads there
