Ok, I don't know what kind of redirect this is, but it works. Its in my htaccess file, and it looks like this:
Now if the "pagename.html" gets lots of backlinks from high PR websites, and its getting redirected to "http://www.domain.com/category/articlename/" via my htaccess file, which of those 2 pages will get the PR?

PR is passed with 301 redirection only.

If you are using 301 redirect, the destination URL will get passed the PR.

If the page is laready very well then you should consider not changing the URL.
