question about PR

Does the PR of a page get divided up among only the external links, or among all links, internal & external.

I have a link of PR 5 pointing to one of my pages, and there are only 2 other external links on that page. But there is also a nav. bar with like 60 internal links.

 

I dont think anyone outside of google really knows for sure - However, i think most people beleive that the PR is shared with all outgoing links - both external and internal.

 

I think it almost depend upon u r sites back links.............

 

from what i have read it is based on incoming links.

PR gets divided up amongst all of the links on your page. There is an argument that internal links (navigational) pass more PR and it may be that having a bunch of navigational links won't reduce the PR passed to other sites.

After all most pages have at least 10 internal links on them so its only fair to allow for this.

What do you mean by "see"?

 

Some links may be javascript or flash. Google can't see these links.
