    Hi,
I just received a warning and post deleted and just want to check so I don't do it again.

I have a proxy listing site, am offering free submission (thus why I posted in freebies).

I received the warning that said "Inappropriate / Disallowed Post

this is for freebies, not a place to spam your site."

In the past freebies is where others have posted their proxy listing site.

the Freebies forum is turning into a free for all.

when i think Freebies, i see free graphics to download or scripts or anything i can get instant gratification from.
what i don't like to see is someone posting a link to their page rank site saying "check your pr for free". bullshit, gimme a pr script for free, i'll download and use it. or the user who owns an image hosting site, blah blah blah, gimme an image hosting script free or cheap.

wheres the Freebie, i can get these services at a million places on the internet.

then there are the users who offer "free" stuff using hotfile / upload.com / sharecash kind of links, not allowed.
man i could go on and on.
theres a lot going through the Freebies forum to keep up with.
when i first came here, you didn't start a thread in Freebies unless you were giving something up.
its slowly turned into a free for all. thats changing and its going to stop.

and i won't mention the 2 other times you posted that site in Freebies recently,

That is not correct. There are proxy lists that sell premium submitting. So where should a user post the thread, in link sales (it is the only alternative except freebies)??

    sawz

For each time you said "gimme" I would reply "google for it"
That user who post a thread like that offers a free service not something you can download.....

    Thank you

I agree with sawz. If you are indeed giving something up, such as offering free/cheap web hosting, by all means post it there. But if you're just making the 900th free PR checker, keep that shit in /dev/null.

Okay friends, thanks for the message. I got the complete idea of the concept of Free thread now. I hope you post this thread at the top of the Freebies section. Pardon me if it was already there and I did not see. I had the same doubt thatz why I instantly sent the admin my thread link and asked for any mistakes :)

    Thanks.
