Question about PDFs

A quick question: is anybody else having problems opening PDF files in their Firefox browser? (I've tried my circa 2006 IE as well, and it prompts me to download the file.) I have the most recent version of Firefox, and I use to be able to click on a PDF link and it would open in the browser. Now the new tab is blank. Is this how it is with Firefox now, or is it just me?

Nope, still no luck. A while ago I uninstalled an earlier version of Adobe because I had already installed a later version. Maybe that's why. Now I just download and read, or I click the HTML version Google provides. Sorry I took a few days to respond - I couldn't find my own thread
