I have remote access to another computer through pc anywhere but I can't print documents from the other computer. Is there anyone that knows about settng up remote printing on pc anywhere, or knows how to set up a network printer via internet.

I had all this set on my labtop but my hard drive failed and I now need to set everything up again, the only issue is my customer support days are over, I dont know where to turn.

    Thanks for your time

I don't know about PCanywhere as I replaced it some years ago with gotomypc.com. You might want to consider changing too.

It's certainly very easy to do with gotomypc.

I am using gotmypc which works well ........ until I lose my connection with an error saying my host computer has lost the internet connection. My host broadband connection is rock solid and my host computer rarely had connection interruptions before I started using gotomypc.

My question is: does it seem likely that using gotomypc is causing the connection interuption itself? Any methods I can use to test this? When I go to my host after receiving the connection interuption it does need to be re-booted to re-establish the connection. I have used the remote connection for three days and have experienced the interrupt 2 out of 3 days.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've not had any connection problems at all. I too have a broadband ADSL connection and use the site to connect to my office from home. Living in an out-of-the-way village, some distance from the exchange, my download speed never achieves advertised rates, but the connection itself seems rock solid.

Could this be an issue with the firewall on your host computer?
