I just ordered a subscription from e-junkie.com and for the "name" of the person I was sending money to it said "19.5 Degrees"

I didn't know you could not use your name.

Is it possible to change my name now that I already have an account?

Nope. Names and Business names are locked onto your account. You can create a second account under a different name though.

If you have a personal account, I believe you can convert it to a business account and add the business name in the process.

About making a second account: Don't I have to confirm who I am before I can accept payments and make withdrawals? Besides, since it's withdrawing to my bank account with my real name, how does that work?

Have multiple bank accounts ;) I have 3 chequing accounts that I setup specifically for paypal accounts.

Confirming who you are is not a requirement. All paypal requires is that your name be on the bank account. They don't verify your identity at all. So I could setup a bank account under the name of "Tom Cruise" and create a paypal account with that name if I wanted.

Sad, but it's how it works for now.
