Question about other amazon merchants and used products

If one of my readers clicks on a product on my webpage with my affiliate link in it, but decided not to buy the new product from Amazon but instead to get a used product during the same session, do I get commission for that purchase or do I only get paid if they buy the new product from Amazon?

 

I'm pretty sure you get commission from all items sold through amazon.
