question about my webpage loading

    hi, would like to know if anybody can help me with this. i wanted to move my website to a different host so i downloaded it and uploaded and when i go view it i get this message (This is a template file, please do not open it) what do i need to do to fix this? thanks for any info

    Hello,
    There is a couple possibilities for this.

    #1 = is your domain pointing to the right name servers where your new site is being hosted? If this is not right then your domain will not be pointing to where the actual files are located, so they dont have anything to view.

    #2 = on the new hosting site did you make sure to upload your index.html, index.htm, or index.php, because this is what browsers pick up as your home page and know what to load.

    Dear,
    there might be many problems
    1. may be name server check it.
    2. window hosting or Linux hosting check it.
    3. check it index.html is proper save in root folder.

    If there was a database behind the site (Wordpress, Joomla, Blogger etc...) did you backup and restore that too?
