I'm hoping this is the correct place to ask this question, and if it's not, moderators please relocate.

I have a website here and I have a couple of questions about it:

    1. What platform is this site designed around? i.e. dotnetduke?

    2. There is a backend or content mgmt section of this site. It lets me add products, categories, etc. The problem is that it isn't very search engine friendly. I would like to be able to add meta tags like title and description but they are currently populated from the product name or category name. Is this possible with this platform? There is no place on the backend to add titles or description tags.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you that stupid that you don't know what your own web site is built with?

The client side is built using jQuery. What the back end is built with isn't something anyone can tell you without a login and password to the server. Which would be irrelevant anyway. If you're going to rebuild the site yourself you'd know what it was built with by looking at the files. If you can't do that you have to hire a web developer to redo it, and all you need to know is the file extensions (.asp, .php, etc.) on the server.

I believe the file extensions are .asp like this one http://www.shopedc.com/cms/tacori.asp. The original developer is hosting all the files so I don't have access to them. I've contacted him for FTP access and just waiting for his reply. Are you knowledable about jQuery? Would you be interested in making changes to the site? I would of course pay you.
