This is my first website and it's still very new (only 4 months old) and I think I've made really good progress with it so far, but one thing that is really bothering me is the navigation as a whole.

When you pull up my homepage there is a tiny box on the left named "Site Navigation" with a couple links in it to help you get around. Well I hate this little navigation box and would like to incorporate a navigation menu into the header of my website so I can eliminate the navigation box. I need something that is easier for users to see and use.

I would like to do something similar to IGN.com where they have a simple horizontal bar at the top of the page with links.

My only problem is, my website runs off vBulletin so I need to incorporate it into the header template so that it shows up on every page (like my logo does) and I dont know how to do this!

First, is what I want to do possible? Second, if it is possible, how hard is this?

The link to my website is in my signature if you'd like to look at the homepage.
