Question about moving wordpress blog

    Hello,

    I have a CSS/HTML website that I built around 4 years ago. A year after, I made a Wordpress /blog

    The website is www.domain.com and the blog www.domain.com/blog

    What I would like to do is make a new website that will be wordpress and have that at the www.domain.com and delete the blog and integrate all the content into the main website. What is the best way to go about doing this? I am concerned about Google not liking this as well. Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

    I appreciate any help you can offer.

    Before doing anything, I highly recommend backing up the mysql database.

    But this post is a little old - any update on how things worked out?
