Question about micro niches?

I am just starting in micro niches. I am yet to create a micro niche sites(still in planning). And i was wondering. Will it be better to have one site with only one article.
    For example:

acnetreatment.com/index.html and here i put one article about acne treatment 800 to 1000 word long. Then i optimize thru web directory and web 2.0 sites.

Or if i write 3-5 articles about different treatments of acne and do something like this:

acnetreatment.com/ - has generic info about acne treatments
    - i optimize this url in web directories. - 500-600 words
acnetreatment.com/treatment1.htm - has specific information on treatments, stuff like that. same for the next four rows. 400-700 words.
    acnetreatment.com/treatment2.htm
    acnetreatment.com/treatment3.htm
    acnetreatment.com/treatment4.htm
    acnetreatment.com/treatment5.htm
and those five pages in web 2.0 sites.

I have seen a lot of micro niche websites, and they are in the most part like the first or second example i have given. Also if i create one page site isn't it like making a MFA site? So making a site with 3-5 Pages is better in a way that it doesn't resemble MFA sites that much?

    P.S.
The niche and url i have given are not mine, they are just examples. So please don't discuss them.

I would recommend you a site with 3 pages. Homepage and two sub pages so you'll have to have a total of 3 articles the homepage should focus on a keyword with more traffic yet not so competitive and those two sub pages should be made on long tail keywords.

What I would do, is have 3 or 4 sites, each with 3 or 4 articles.

Let me explain how I would do it :)

    I would:

    1) Search good for your main keyword (Eg. Acne Treatment).

    2) In the Google results, in the left hand sidebar, look for the link 'Wonder wheel' - May have to click 'More Search Tools' first.

    3) Look at the keywords that Google is suggesting are related to your main keyword.

    4) Pick the 3 or 4 keywords that the wonder wheel suggests, and write them down

    5) You should install wordress on your domain, and write a nice post, optimised for your main keyword. Then in the posts settings, sticky that post to the top.

    6) Write a post on each of the 3 to 4 related keywords that you got from the Wonder wheel. Make sure the related keyterm you have used is in the title of the post, and a little in the body of the post (do not keyword stuff it though! Be natural!!!)

    7) Link each of the 3 to 4 related keyterm based posts to your main website, and to you stickied post, using the exact anchor text of your main keyterm (acne treatments).

    8) Throw links at the subpages, using 3 to 4 DIFFERENT BUT RELATED keyterms for that post, and throw links at both the domain and the main, stickied post with a mix of your main target keyterm, and other RELATED keyterms (about 35% using the main keyterm, the remaining 65% using 3 to 4 other, relevant keyterms).

    9) Final step, rinse and repeat the above, with a slightly different keyterm from the same niche.

But then again, that's just what I would do :)

Hope it helps! (if you really like my post, I am new here, so any thanks would be appreciated, no stress if not tho!)

    Mark.

    I was wondering about something.
If i go with micro niches and i go in lets say 2 niches, lets say "skin problems" and "home decoration"
I register two domains skinproblemsite.com and homedecorationsite.com and then for every domain(niche) i set up subdomains with the keyword of the micro niche. something like
pimples.skinproblemsite.com / acne.skinproblemsite.com and in those subdomains i target 5 keywords, from them i write 5 articles and after that i do seo on those articles. lastly i make the homepage of skinproblemsite.com to shows links to all the articles in the subdomains. Is it too big for micro niches, a am imaging something like for every 1 domain i have 10 subdomains and 5-10 articles for every subdomain, so thats like 50 to 100 articles per domain that are listed on the main page of the domain but have no other connection between them whatsoever. Will the linking affect me in a good or a bad way? I wont link the different domain names. Again, ads will be placed in a way that will interfere with the reading but not against GA TOS.
    The same thing with homedecorationsite.com...

I will optimize the domains only once.
I will not optimize the sub domains.
I will optimize each article separately.
This process of creating a sub domain lasts around 1 week.
    So in other words

    First week
First i register the first domain
    Create first sub domain
Start writing articles min 5 max 10.
After that happens i add the articles to social networks and stuff.
After that i register the domain at directories.
The Second week i do the same, but for another domain.
The Third week i return to the first domain.
    And so on...

Sorry for explaining it so roughly i just got that idea and i am still thinking, but i think that it could happen and will lead to better rankings?

An MFA framework is more about the architecture of the site and less about the amount of content on them. For instance, a MFA won't have the navigation buttons as you would normally expect because they want to give the searcher one of two options- Click an ad or click away.

All that said, the more content you have on a topic, the better. More pages give you more visibility in terms of potential long tail keywords, assuming that you are using SEO to get recognized.
