    Hello people!
I am pretty new in creating website, although I might say that
I`m not someone without ideas, but anyway I wanted to ask
about banners. What software or online website do you use
for creating banners? And from your experience which is the
    best software for this job?

Well, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator are professional tools, but they are not cheap. If you have the money, go for Photoshop/Illustrator. You can test it for 30 days (I think..)

Free alternative to Photoshop is GIMP

Free alternative to Illustrator is Inkscape

Photoshop is an excellent program for pretty much any kind of graphics design work.

Alternatively you can search for websites which will automatically generate a banner for you, these are usually however watermarked and quite ugly.

If you're wanting to make animated Buttons/Banners WWW Gif Animator is free and useful.

I use photoshop entirely. If you are going to do a decent amount of design work it is definitely worth the investment. You can purchase the student edition which will save you some money. You'll just need to meet the guidelines or have someone who does, purchase it for you.

    Good luck!

I use either Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro to create the jpg frames, and then animate them with Jasc Animation Shop to create the gif banners.
