Question: When I set up an LLC to which I am the sole owner, is a credit card application going to review my personal credit when applying for the corporation credit card? Also, since the LLC is set up as pass through income, to pay myself for personal expenses I can just write myself a check using the LLC's check book right? I plan on going to a CPA but they are expensive so I want to learn as much as possible first. Thanks, Jonathan
ok standard disclaimer applies i don't know what i'm talking bout etc. it depends on the bank's practices. usually they will check your credit report, especially if you don't have employees, and they may request company financials if you're getting a lot of cards. it is inadvisable to pay for personal expenses through llc funds, but you can increase your own salary from the llc and pay for it from there.
