hi everyone, i just have a quick question about links:

say for example a sites homepage is PR5

and the place where your comment/link is left is PR0

does the link you leave count as a PR5 or PR0 link

would love to hear what you think

    thanks

Based on my opinion... i dont think it will count as a pr5... but for sure it will be helpful.. i mean.. getting a link on a pr0 and the homepage is pr5 for sure there is a big chance that the pr0 page would get some pr on the next update...

that's a really interesting question and I also want to ask here.
I think google will treat that link from pr0.

Google will treat the actual page your link is on as it's value. BUT having a high pr page on the front page will increase that sites spider rate. Which in turn will get your link more attention faster.

Not worth paying high rates for it though - plenty of low pr links out there to grab with out paying for the pr of a page your not on.

Your link is not on homepage it's on an internal page which may have 0 pagerank. It's likely that individual posts also get a PR if the content is interesting.
