    Hello everyone,

I saw this in the api reference:

I wondered if anyone might explain it too me? Im really not clear on it.

Currently im trying to start at 0 and loop through to the estimatedResults number. This does seem to conk out at 1000 - i thought the max results returned was 10 per query right?

Sorry to be unclear, that's why im posting! :) Could someone set me straight please?

    Much thanks...

    Nick

It says, that you could use google api key "only" 1000 times a day. It is very satisfactory.
You could find more or less 10x1000 pages a day.

Are you *certain* that's what it means?

It says nothing about queries at all....

    I read it as this

    If i start at page 100 i can only retrieve 900 urls. (start + end = 1000)

You are right - if you would like to see in google or yahoo or other search engine you will see "only" 1000 results.

Right, any idea how to get past 1000 results? or do I have to just use another query string?

    Thanks...

I have tried to have more than 1000 results. I think that you should query more exactly.

You cannot go past the 1,000th result (same as on www.google.com). No way around it.

Just out of curiousity - what would be the need to check your status past 1000. Especially since if you arent in the first two pages alone you are talking less than 1%

I know that google shows up to 1000 results. I was going to give an advice if he is looking for eg. pharmacy - he should request more exact like pharmacy ending .com.au or something else.
By the way - why google bans other results not showing them?
