Ok guys...so now my blog ranks in google's first page result for 5 keywords, that aren't included in it's meta tags. Just merely words I've used in separate posts before, and alone don't reflect much what my blog's main theme is all about. http://mystic-pandemonium.blogspot.com I've heard that we should optimize our websites/blogs for our top ranking keywords. If the keywords already bring your site in the first page, why optimize it by including them/bolding them more in the posts? or is it preferred that we include them in the meta tags? I also think that there are specific differences between blogs and websites. If anyone tried optimizing their blogger blogs with the top ranking keywords they discovered of it, please share your experience with us.
It's really true that sometimes your site rank for other keywords that is not targeted. Actually I don't optimized my blog I just put content on it and submit it to a lot of directories. And I also put my blog links on my forums sig and use on social bookmarking.
You are right, but optimizing also can make us a big favour... if you target visitors from search engines, that'd be your top pick overall....
My keywords research and brainstorming is a little outdated, and I need to start a new research... I'm planning to use no more than a dozen keywords as the main keywords for my blog, and try to use them in posts.... another dozen will replace the first chosen dozen in future, then I'll go back and forth... I won't put much importance for them being in meta tags, just in titles and posts (maybe bolding also)...
