On the front page of my joomla site I have several articles that are in a front page blog layout. My question is this: Is it possible to change their links from "http://mainpage/categoryid-catgoryname/articleid-articlename/whatever.html" to remove the ids from the category and articles? If anyone could share that with me I would appreciate it. Its the hybrid car site in my sig that I'm speaking of.
If want you can use a 3rd party SEO Components, I recommend artio & sef404. you need to changes those urls for better SEO result, like 54.html etc, also home.html don't need redirect it to main url, it looks duplicated.
Interesting. I am using sef404 and have followed all the directions. However, I can tell no difference from when it is "on" or "off".
