Incentive means that you are providing something in return for the person to complete the offer. For example, a GPT site offers you $0.40 to do an offer.

Non-incentive means there is incentive to do the offer, the user does it on his/her own. For example, a banner ad of an offer, and the user clicks on the ad and fills it out.

    hi
    thanks for reply.
    this still confuses me.
you mean for incentive offer, the visitor is also being paid to complete the offer?

Incentive means YOU pay somebody to complete the offer, whether you pay him cash, reward him points or contest entry or grant him access to your content. Pretty much awarding that person for completing the offer.

An incentive offer is designed to encourage or entice the viewer to complete the offer.
If your incentive is compelling enough, it should create a need for the viewer to want to complete the action to receive the incentive (ebook, pdf, etc).

PM me and I can show you an example or two of some sites with "locked content"

    Thanks, Steve
