Question about .htaccess file

I have installed security scan plugin and it says

The file .htaccess does not exist in wp-admin/.

I don't know what is written in .htaccess file. Can anyone suggest me what to write and save file as .htaccess so that I can upload it on the required path.

U can only create empty .htaccess file, and it must work.

You define the rules applied to specific directories (if not defined the server checks its parent directory).

You can create whitelists or blacklists for image leeching, tweak security... There are many resources about .htaccess on the net.
