Question about hiring personnel

This question is about US Tax Law:

I am about to hire a couple of content writers and want them to sign a W-9 form. So far, so good - that is the easy part. At the end of the year - how does that work with reporting that income of them to the IRS? Is there a specific tax form for me so that I can report proper payment and "contractor" information?

    Thanks for any hint.

I understand. But I am not hiring contractors (that's why I used quotations when using that term. I want to know how I (the business) report the W-9 (folks I pay money to) earnings to the IRS.

You report the wages using the W-2 form.
