Question about Google's Cache

Okay, did Google just went back in time? When I checked my site's cache this morning, the date was Nov. 4th but when I checked again a few hours ago, the last cache was for Nov. 3. Now I can't be wrong about this because in the cache that I saw for my site in the morning, my post for Nov. 4th was already there but the cache it's showing now shows my post for Nov. 3rd.

I was just wondering if this is normal or why would Google's cache go back a day?

Yes it is very often that G cache is showing roll back info.

It may because the cache came from G's different DCs or local ISP temp.....

There are various reasons.. May be a database rollback or a different DataCenter.

It will simpley be when you checked each time, each request was done on a different datacenter. Its like when you check your position in Google you can be 1st on one and then check 2 mins later and you can find that your in 3rd.

Due to updates always happening and the fact they carnt update all the datacenters in one go you will get different results.

Yes no problem about the Google cache because sometimes when you see different results on your page, it is not directly the result of some mistakes in Google system but the cache you are seeing is because of older records shown on your screen and from your ISP records.

might be possble that you have seen a recent cached page 4 novof the site which has been updated later so cached late and the index page and rest of the site cached on 3 nov.

It's likely that you queried a different data center. They have quite a few, and the fine details tend to change a bit, depending on which one you happen to get.
