Question about Google SERP, kinda confused

I have been trying to get my site to show up on Google when you search a certain "keyword", I was on page 7 the other day and now am I am on the 1st page in position 3.

Here is where things get kinda confusing though, the main page isn't the one showing up in position 3 on page 1 on Google. One of my posts pages shows up and its description is what shows on Google also. I would be getting a lot more clicks if my main page was the one being shown on Google with my main description.

Anyone know whats up? How do I change it so my main page pulls of should I just leave things alone...

    Thanks

That's what I was thinking, thanks for clarifying...

Yeah I plugged the page that's showing up a bit more than I did the main page...

Google is forcing me to make my site more babe related then lol...

If you are running your blog on your own domain, and it's a new one...
Then you are facing a delaying filter called Google Sand Box ;)
Keep on building more quality links and you will recover sooner or later.

Yeah its only a month or so old, I was able to achieve what I was trying to do and rank for a particular keyword. This was mostly an experiment, I will use this knowledge moving forward... I am surprised my site is pulling rank above sites with higher PR, traffic, etc. SEO is pretty fun, it gets frustrating but I am into it...
