    How long does it generally take for Google to index your website after it's been registered with them?

    It depends on you.
    If you are doing all important things, such as submit website at social bookmarking websites, add to forum's signature and so on, it can take even a day, if you are slow enough till one month...

    It is depending on your site quality of content, you can do social media, then it is helps easy to index your site.
