Question about Google PR

    I was wondering how Google can change back links to my website from 30 awhile back to now only 4 back links. At the current time I have at least 75 or more and the lowest back link PR is 3. Google claims that they update daily but I am really wondering about this. :cool: Any help explaining why this is happening?

    it happens, its natural and its normal, it happens in all search engines, not just google, my links dropped from 30 to 2 a while back then jumped to 250 then dropped to 24, its crazy, but its normal

    Its their engine, they can do what they want with it.

    The link command hasn't been accurate for years now only showing a sample from a given domain.

    You better of signing up for the google webmaster tools as there is a feature that gived you more information about your backlinks.

    Try SEO Spy Glass .. you can better analyze your backlinks this way.

    Maybe other site that is linking to you before remove your links that's why backlinks decrease.

    Google doesnt show all backlinks. The pr 4 site in my sig shows 4k links in yahoo and 50 in google.

    Then how do you track Google links after all ? Do you use some tools in order to see what the search engine query doesn't normally display?
