I have website that is ranked on position #1 for keyword that have over 150 000 monthly searches(exact checked with google adwords keyword tool), but my website is getting very little traffic(about 20 unique visits daily). I checked my rankings via market samurai tools, and web proxies(proxify), and via my local google, and everywhere my website is showing on first position for that keyword. So, can somebody explain me what I did wrong. Can google keyword tool make such big mistake in number of searches.
I doubt the Google keyword tool is wrong, are you logged into google when looking at this? try logging out and see if your are the same position also does your title and anchor text draw attention and make people want to click to your site?
There are reasons for this, one is if your site is using a wrong keywords I hope you get my point.. Cheers!!
you have to remember that google keyword tools shows just estimates and it's not very accurate. Secondly, you might rank well in your country but ranking can considerably fluctuate from country to county.
