    Hey,

Just had a question or two for some of you google experts out there.

I used to run google adwords a little while ago, but I can t remember exactly how the process worked for me in the past.

I recently fired up a campaign with a series of different adgroups for individual keywords and so on so forth. I created my page with a landing page as an index that has about 6 other pages eg. contact , privacy poilicy, about us ... ect ...

I did my keyword research and got my adgroups setup .. I checked the click/day estimator and it said I would get about 100-150 clicks a day on my current budget and cpc bid. I activated the campaign and went to bed and its now about 12-15 hours later and so far i ve gotten .... 6 impressions

Is this just a matter of google still reviewing the ad ?
It is a brand new account and it says my quality score is great ... but this is also because a lack of historical data.

Is there anyway to know why my it is not giving me the clicks that it estimated ?

Is this estimator usually correct ?

Keep in mind that i checked the estimates within my campaigns, not just in the tools

Thanks for all of your feedback

    Jay

First off let me say that from experiece I have found the google traffic estimator to be very inaccurate

I've set up campaigns where Google had estimated 2-3 clicks per day and I manage to get 50-75 clicks per day

I have also experienced the opposite

Also keep in mind where your ads are being shown, are they on first page? if not you'll barely get a click

you can check out your ad's placement HERE
