In Google Webmasters you'll see how many of your pages have been indexed by Google so far. The site will not show up until the pages are indexed.

did you do a site:yourdomain search to see if it's indexed?

Best way to get a site indexed is to get some links from frequently crawled sources. Bookmarking can also help.

As you said your site is new so it will take some time for indexing wait some time and then check again.... Try to index your complete site first...

Sites properly optimized through on page work get easily indexed by Google. Make your website fully optimize, use unique/quality content on the site.

    just search on Google
with keyword site:yoursite.com and if any of your page doesn't
there that means the pages are not indexed by Google. All the pages appearing there are
    indexed by Google.

As the site is new it may take some time for your site to be indexed. So you need not worry..
