I use google analytics on a website for quiet a while now and recently started a new blog last week. I was working on the template and a couple of posts on my blog and only promoted on 2 forums. But it shows that I have 43 uniques. and the traffic is 1. blogger.com (referral) 40 visits 2. direct 40 visits 3. my blog 20 visits 4. the forum I advertise 1 visit Why are there traffic from blogger.com and my own blog? I believe that's myself since the average time on site is 20 minutes. I spent a lot time designing the template so the average time is long. But if that's me, why google analytics showed there are 43 uniques which I have only a few visits from the forum I advertise?
just a low traffic forum, that's why google analytics showed only 1 visit from them. What i'm wondering is why it shows there are traffic from blogger.com and my own blog? P.S, my blog is a free blog from blogger.com and is hosted on blogger.com
yah, I think its my own visit since why would anyone stay in a website over 20 minutes when there is only 1 post. But my question is if it is my own visit, why it shows there are 43 uniques?
That's a good question... Might wanna search for some FAQs, on the chance someone else encountered this and discovered the reason.
