I was looking at Google Maps map of Ireland.

A few sections of the country are photographed from a satellite. Does anyone know if Google will eventually photogrpah the entire country?

Google gets its photography from a variety of sources, but I don't think that they do it themselves.

They are constantly adding higher-resolution pictures to their system... so yeah, at some point I would imagine the entire country will be done.

They do most of it themselves sine they bought Keyhole awhile ago (satellite imaging company).

Excellent! The took a couple pictures of a small town in Ireland called Ballybunion. The hi-res stops right in the middle of main street! :D
