Hey guys When a site gets penalized for paid links and gets "pagerank not availabe", does it have to wait for the pagerank update like all the other pagerank changes or is it something instant ? I am asking because i just reported a major competitor for a site I have who was that stupid to actuall claim he is selling links and also not contain the nofollow tag
I don't believe you have to wait for the next PR update for those to come up. If you get banned by Google that means that someone at Google's HQ is going to take the time to remove the site from there index and remove the PR. Now someone correct me if I'm wrong here... Also, most believe that a PR update is going on right now but with as slow as Google has been with getting to reported sites, it might be a few months before you ever see that site get the effects of a ban by Google.
